The cup of yogurt without the cumin was also given to the first group.
The result was amazing. Members of the group who had taken cumin had shed an additional 3 pounds on an average above the common loss of around 10 pounds. Remarkably, the percentage of body fat had also decreased by 15% for the members of the group which had taken cumin. The other group had lost only 5%. The difference can logically be attributed to the use of the fat-eliminating spice.

Those who took cumin also showed marked improvements in other parameters. The loss of triglycerides, which are harmful fats in the blood, was significant. They lost an additional 10 points of LDL, which is harmful against only 5 points loss in the other group.
